PLA is small (11 units) and friendly with a terrific lagoon location and is handy to Port Vila and some of the best activities on the island.
We (Small Guide Travel) do not own Pacific Lagoon Apartments but it is one of our favourite places in Vanuatu - and we can package flights with transfers and accommodation (same rates as booking direct with the property). Ian Heydon, owner of Small Guide Travel, lived next door to the apartments for three years (2000 to 2002) and has stayed there many times.
There aren’t many places in the world that give guests a lagoon at their doorstep at such an affordable price. The apartments have changed a bit since 2002. The apartments now have air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans, the have been refurbished and in 2010 the swimming pool and adjacent BBQ area were welcome additions. Some things, of course, haven’t changed - the friendly staff, the laid-back atmosphere and the location! Email us for more details and current rates.
